hi, i've bought a netbook lately that preinstall with window7 starter. and i'm running jaws10 on it. however, i can't seems to change the view to something there's assessable. i know that window 7 does not come with the clasic view option like XP did. may i ask, is there any idea to set the view on window 7, particular starter, to something that is assessable for jaws?

also, will it worth the upgreat from 7 starter to 7 home premium...

thanks

yes it can be updated from 7 starter to 7 home premium seeing as h ll it really has to do is "unlock" the additional features. What exactly do you mean the windows 7 view insn't accessible, i used windows 7 with jaws 10 with no problems here .

if you downgrade from win 7 you're going to be forced to upgrade soon enough. what don't you like about it though? jaws 11 and win 7 are very nice together

some update about my problem, manage to get around window7 okay, only problem now is jaws refuse to install, or windows refuse to install jaws. but NVDA will do for now.
i was thinking of downgrate it to xp too, but i guess it is just the matter of getting use to it. for example, use tap and kerser to nevigate start menu, etc etc.

the search feature in vista and win 7 is a life saver, if i were you i'd get used to using that as it can find just about anything on your system. and how is jaws not being installed?

Jaws may not be able to install because of the unsigned mirror driber. Does it hang at a certain percentage? If so, alt tab and allow the driver to install.
